Review of Rockaway Bride by Pippa Grant

Review of Rockaway Bride by Pippa Grant

Review done for Hooked on Books

Dax Gallagher has finally hit rock bottom. His investment manager stole his money, his dad’s health is failing, and his band is in turmoil. He needs to fix things fast. His new plan: kidnap the investment manager’s fiancé.

Willow Honeycutt has always dreamed of being a kind of wild child. Unfortunately being a preschool teacher limits what you are allowed to do. Willow also doesn’t love her fiancé. She wants to runaway and start over.

When Dax and Willow wake up on a ship in the middle of nowhere, their adventures are just beginning. Through their journeys, they learn a lot about themselves and each other. Dax finds out Willow is not the weak girl he thought she was going to be. She is beautiful inside and out. She just needs a little coaxing to bring out her free spirit. Willow sees that Dax isn’t just the bad boy rocker that everyone sees in the magazines and in concert. He is kind of shy, super sexy, and has a big heart. These two are perfect for each other.

This book is filled with hilarious characters and laugh out loud adventure. The author did an amazing job with this complicated story line. The book flowed perfectly and I couldn’t wait to see what happened next.

I loved this book and absolutely recommend it! I will definitely be reading more books by this talented author.
