Synopsis: Sign: Scorpio
The sting of this Scorpio is unforgettably hot...
Ivy Danforth is out from under her Colonel father's overprotective control, and she's making it count. Big time. She's taken the summer off to travel through Australia with her bestie and experiencing all that life has to offer—when you’re not under constant military surveillance. She wants to end her summer with some sexy fun, and she has just the hottie in mind.
Seth Rodrigo is ex-Special Forces working undercover and keeping an eye on Ivy as a special favor to her father. All he has to do is not give the game away and reveal who he really is. And especially not give into the hunger that's burning through his careful control...
Then they're forced into protective custody. Alone. Together. For four days.
And this time, the Colonel's daughter isn't taking no for an answer...
Ivy Danforth is trying to get away from her
overprotective father. She is an adult now and wants to make her own decisions.
Ivy decides a trip around Australia with her best friend to experience life on
her own.
Being an ex-Special Forces soldier has taught
Seth Rodrigo how to stay under control. He is an expert in protection and
security. When a former Colonel who saved his life asks for his help, he can’t
say no.
Unfortunately his new job is pushing his
limits of staying in control. He is tasked with keeping watch of the Colonel’s
beautiful daughter Ivy. One look and Seth knows he is in trouble.
Ivy is on a mission to rectify her lack of
sexual experience, and the gorgeous bouncer at the bar she has been working at
is just what she is looking for. Unfortunately Ivy doesn’t know that the
bouncer is actually there to keep an eye on her.
When the two are forced into confinement
for a few days together, their attraction to each other skyrockets. They just
have to see who is going to crack first. Limits are pushed and truths are
revealed.
This was a pretty good love story. I really
liked the two characters but I felt the story just dragged on too long in some
parts. The author didn’t take advantage of times where she could have added a
little more angst to make the story a bit more exciting.
