Freeing His Mercenary (Mercenary In Love #3) by Vanessa Sims
Book 3 starts right where book 2 left off . It is well written, fast paced and loaded with sexual chemistry between 3 men (Rick, Christian and Elliot).
At the end of book 2 Rick was kidnapped and beaten and book 3 starts with Rick in the hospital. Rick has no memory of who he is and Christian is crushed.
"He doesn't remember me."
"I was afraid of that. He suffered some severe blows to the head."
"Will he ever remember?"
"There is a high chance he won't."
Chase, Cameron, Christian and Killian are still looking for Logan, the man that kidnapped Rick. Elliott his cousin was dating Rick before Christian realized he was in love with Rick.
With Rick still recovering in the hospital Elliott and his daughter move in with Christian. They are attacked in their kitchen and Christian takes control.
" I'm going to distract them. I want you to crawl to the other side of the kitchen." Christian whispered into Elliot's ear, and if his treacherous body didn't pick that moment to go all soft and buttery, as if Christian were whispering sweet nothings into his ear and not trying to save his life. What the hell is wrong with me.
Rick finally gets better and goes back home with Christian and Elliot. Lots of sexual chemistry going on in that house. Life is moving along slowly with Rick remembering bits and pieces but peacefully until Logan's men kidnap Elliott and his daughter Laci.
So they are on the hunt again but this time for the man both Rick and Christian care about. Cannot wait to see how this all plays out. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long.
I have thoroughly enjoyed these first 3 books by Vanessa Sims. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the length.
