This author has a great story line. But the delivery of it just wasn't there for me. I am all for drama in a story. I think it makes the story. But the way the characters came across didn't work. Tally is a 24 year old who was in a horrible relationship with Dean. At the beginning it was wonderful but then something happens and he ends up beating and raping her over the course of their relationship. She does finally leave. A few years later (I think) she meets James. And wants a relationship with him. The questions is can she handle it. After knowing James a week? she ends up almost sleeping with him. But then decides to tell him about what dean did to her. Ok I can understand wanting to tell the person about what happen BUT after a week together and right before you have sex? Then it goes back and forth with James and Tally. They are together then they aren't. It is very confusing. And then to top it off she meets with Dean and wants to talk to him to see why he did what he did. I can kinda understand that but it was the way it happened. Like I said the author had a great story line but just didn't delivery. Would I recommend this book to someone? I'm going to say if you find it for free yes but if I paid for this book I would be disappointed.
