Review of Refuse to Lose: A Coach’s Love 1 by Alison Mello
Review done for Hooked on Books
Trystan is the town bad boy; at least that is the rumor around town. One bad decision after a night on the town with his friends leads him to a court date with a judge who has an odd way for him to stay out of jail: coach little league or find himself behind bars.
Coaching teaches Trystan the important things in life and also brings him closer to the beautiful new waitress he has been flirting with.
Stella is a widowed, single mom trying to raise her son and grieve for her lost husband. She decides that moving to a small town is the right thing for her son.
Not only does she find a new job and a place for them to live, she finds a man with whom she wants to start a new life with.
This book was wonderful! I loved all the characters in the book and really enjoyed all the secondary stories interwoven throughout the book. There are lots of life lessons as well as some sexy love scenes. This is a very heartwarming book about second chances. It is a must read!
