This book has it all—an unique story line, steam, and likeable characters. When two
people who have secretly loved each other for years end up at a posh club without
knowledge of the other one joining, it can only mean one thing: the start of
something great.
Mia is brought on board to join Society X through a friend. Parker, a well-known
businessman, wants to check out where his money is going as a silent investor in the
club. After one night in the dark room, both are hooked. The catch? Both have
known each other for years, and neither one knows the other is a member of the
club.
Because of a new investment, Parker hires Mia to work with him. The two grow
closer, but Parker’s one rule is to never get involved with employees. His way of
thinking is that if he hires Mia, he won’t be able to get involved with her. Guess
what? It’s too late. He’s already involved deeply with her, and she with him.
With lots of drama from an ex as well as a new employee, this book takes readers on
a twist of fantastic interweaving subplots that only make the main plot that much
better.
From two very talented authors whom I love, this fast-paced, sweet read is one I
