This is the 2nd book in the series, and whilst they don't essentially need to be read in order I would recommend that you do.
Laila and Ean belong together - they are 'fated'. But Ean thinks it will break Laila by being with him so he pushes her away to try to protect her. Laila is far stronger than he thinks, but can they eventually work things out ?
I didn't think I could love this book as much as book 1 (Protecting Shaylee) however, this one is just as good. I did feel quite cross and angry with Ean for most of the book and just wanted to either punch or shake him so many times - or maybe for Laila to punch him ! I truly love their world so much I wish it were real and I was part of it. I think erotic paranormal is definitely one of my favourite genres and this one is great, I was sucked into their world and this book really set my imagination free !
