  “Who’s teasing?” I offer him my breasts, caged between my fingers.“All for you.” “The way your pink nipples tighten for me, I can’t wait to fuck those beauties.” He limps toward me, the muscles along his torso flex into rippling planes that temp me to run my hands over his corrugated abs up to his sculpted shoulders. Xavia Kennedy has been thrown into the secret society of Washington, D.C. head- first. Everything is spiraling out of control and she is quickly learning that she cannot trust anyone: including her friends.

 

Senator Bennett Stone is the Capital’s ultimate playboy. He doesn’t date but he likes rough sex, although that is kept hush-hush.  Meeting Xavia has turned his world upside down. What he thought he wanted is definitely not what he wants now. He wants to own Xavia, not just is the bedroom, but in her heart.

The stakes are super high for this couple. If anyone discovers their secrets they could lose it all. They love each other and despite the dangers, they cannot let go of each other.

 

This book was fantastic. It was even more gritty and suspenseful than the first. More secrets are unveiled and the danger even worse. This book had me intrigued throughout. I cannot wait to find out what happens in book 3.

 

Bennett and Xavia make an awesome couple. Bennett is the strong, alpha male we all love and Xavia is a beautiful and smart woman who stands up for her self. There are a lot of smoking hot sex scenes with these two throughout this book.

Alex Elliott has created a fantastic series that everyone should read.
