Wow, I can’t believe this series is coming to an end. I LOVED all the books!!
Kyle Andrews is the guy everyone hates. He is ruthless, a cheater, and put his sister’s life in danger. At least he used to be those things.
Kyle has done a lot of awful things, but being in a wheelchair gave him time to reflect on his life. He wants to change and make everything right.
Kyle ends up back in Las Vegas at his soon to be brother in law’s gym. There he meets the beautiful Megan. She seems to be the only one willing to give him the time of day. He knows he doesn’t deserve anyone’s friendship but he is going to try.
Megan barely escaped from her psychotic ex alive. She is in no hurry to hookup with a man again. When Kyle Andrews shows up at the gym she works, she is intrigued. She knows all about him, but as she gets to know him, she sees something in him. Megan believes he has changed and is willing to help him.
Each day their attraction to each other grows but their relationship is complicated. Kyle has affected all of Megan’s friends in some way and they try hard to discourage their friendship.
Kyle is not afraid to face all the people he wronged, especially his sister. He will do anything for her forgiveness.
Besides Kyle’s problems, they also have Megan’s ex to fear. He will not let her go and continues to terrorize her.
I absolutely loved this book! Just when I think there can’t be another favorite man in the series, L.P. surprises me with another hottie!
Kyle was perfect. I loved how he redeemed himself. Megan was also great. Even though she was scared she took another chance on love.
I am so sad to see this series end. It is definitely in my top 5! I can’t wait to read what this amazing author has for us to read next!
As fast as I could, I rushed into my room and changed into some comfortable clothes. I didn’t care if they weren’t sexy because that definitely wasn’t what I was going for tonight. Not with Kyle and I alone in my house. When I got downstairs, he was still standing in front of my favorite picture.
“I take it you took these?” he asked, pointing to the canvas.
“How can you tell?”
He walked from one frame to the next and glanced back at me over his shoulder. “I don’t know. It just seems like something you would do. I knew there was more to your story than just a girl who works at a gym.” His gaze then landed on my pink, cupcake flannel pants. “Nice PJ’s by the way. If you’re trying to go for unsexy, you failed.”
“The only way I’m going to let you come over is if you tell me you missed me this week.”
“Really?” I shrieked.
“Yep, now say the words, love.”
“No. That’s ridiculous. I’m not gonna lie.”
He snorted. “But you just did.”
I opened my mouth to say something and then stopped; he got me with that one. And judging by the satisfied chuckle he tried to contain, he knew it too. “Fine. You want to play games? Then it looks like you won’t be hearing what I have to say. Bye-bye, French fry.”
“Megan, wait—”
Taking the upper hand, I hung up the phone. He was going to drive me insane. I had to hand it to him, he could definitely get my blood pumping. I did miss him, but I wasn’t about to give in to his antics. If anyone was going to submit first, I wanted it to be him. I got my wish when my phone started to ring. Deliberately, I refused to answer it, hoping it’d make him feel the restlessness I felt inside.
With a smirk on my face, I pulled into my neighborhood. He was just going to have to sweat a bit longer.
To my surprise, that wasn’t going to be very long. Because in my driveway, there Kyle stood, beside a sleek, black motorcycle. I hit the button to my garage and pulled past him. He walked up to my door and opened it with a smirk on his face. “You are one stubborn woman, you know that?”
