Scarlett Collins thought she had found her HEA. Unfortunately when she brought him lunch at work, his secretary was giving him a BJ in his office. Upset and scared, Scarlett ran and hid.
Out with her friends one night, she sees her ex and his secretary. Not wanting to face him, she runs off to the bathroom. Unfortunately she goes through the wrong door and ends up in a locked broom closet.
When she sets eyes on the gorgeous stranger who recues her, Scarlett is startled by her feelings for this handsome British bartender. He is super sexy, and unbelievably nice.
Kyle Harrington has taken over his father’s bar. His father’s health is failing and he is going to take care of everything. Putting his life on hold, Kyle doesn’t have time to date. But when he rescues a beautiful woman from his broom closet, he can’t think of anything else but her.
Having both been burned in the past, Scarlett and Kyle are leery about starting a relationship. Neither of them can deny how perfect they are for each other.
Wow, for a first book, this author did an amazing job! I truly loved this book. Kyle was sexy and sweet and Scarlett was beautiful and caring. They were perfect together.
The story flowed beautifully and there was just enough angst and sweetness. I cannot wait to read book 2. I would love to read more about the secondary characters as well.
Great job Nicole De La Cruz and I highly recommend this book to read!
