M.M. Koenig did not disappoint with the second book in her Secrets and Lies series. It was intense right from the start.
Mia is struggling to figure out all the secrets and lies in her life. She doesn’t know who to trust and how to protect her friends from the dangers that she finds herself in the middle of.
Things are constantly spiraling out of control. Her love for Ethan is even more confusing for her as well. He seems to know things about Mia that she doesn’t even know.
Ethan loves Mia like no other and he can’t help but keep things from her to protect her. Their love for each other might not be able to save them when everything comes crashing down.
I could not stop turning the pages of this book. It was full of action and secrets that blew me away. Unfortunately, there is also a big cliffhanger that leaves me dying to know what happens!
The characters were fantastic in this book. They all contributed to the story line perfectly.
I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for sexy, romantic, thriller!
