4 out of 5 stars
Emily Halliday is a typical college student who can’t wait until graduation. Not looking for love, she ends up meeting her soul mate Andrew Bentley. While Emily is hot-tempered and always speaks her mind, Andrew is cool and collected. They balance each other.
Andrew is head over heels as well and knows Emily is the one. They are going to get married some day.
That was the plan until tragedy strikes and their world is ripped apart. It is hard to see what you have through extreme grief. It is hard to see anything good when who you thought was the greatest person in the world is taken from you.
This book seemed to start out really slow for me. I liked Emily and Andrew but the story didn’t really seem to get going until about a third of the way through.
This book did show what losing someone really close to you can feel like and how hard it is to go on.
It also showed us that love can heal anything if you just believe in each other.
I would recommend this touching love story.
