What if Scottie and Luca met one night!

I'm going on a blind date tonight. I never go on dates, let alone blind dates.  I'm nervous but I very carefully pick matching underwear in a fabulous turquoise colour that suits my tanned skin. I have on a super sexy turquoise dress which is lace and figure hugging, it drops down lower on one side. Whoever this mystery man is he will be in for a treat later, I can feel myself getting turned on just thinking about it.

Suzy at work has arranged this and we are having a double date with her and her boyfriend Ben. Ben is gorgeous and I only hope his friend is too, I hear the mystery man gives classes as a gym so I know he is going to be fit. If he is fit then it means he will have lots of stamina later tonight when I go back to his house. I smile to myself, look in the mirror for the last time, blow myself a kiss and walk out of the room and down the stairs.

I wait in the lounge for the taxi to turn up and when I it does I kiss my mum goodbye. She is very sick and doesn't really know who I am anymore, what she does know though is that I take care of her every evening and she also knows that she likes me. She is the reason why I go on mad benders when I go out drinking. I like to let myself go and live my life because you just never know when it will be over.

After saying goodbye I run out the door and hop into the waiting taxi. I’m very excited and have butterflies in my stomach. I hear my phone beep with a text and I take it out of my handbag, I look at the screen and smile. It’s Steve, he’s my best friend and I have a big girly crush on him but unfortunately for me he is gay! I read his text:

Steve always makes me smile but I need to concentrate on this blind date, I promised Suzie I would go along with it and play nice so here goes. I pay the taxi and walk into the restaurant. I don’t see Suzie straight away, but then I see someone waving like mad at me and I walk over to her and Ben.

“Hi Scottie, you look fabulous. Luca isn’t here yet, he won’t be long!”

“Hi Suzie, hi Ben. Suzie I told you not to tell me his name, I wanted to find out if I wanted to know him better before knowing his name. You know what I am like, I don’t need to know their names unless I’m seeing them again.”

“You are off your rocker Scottie but that’s why I love you.” She says laughing. I sit down and look at the cocktail menu, they do fantastic ones apparently.

The waiter comes over “are you ready to order?” he smiles look at me.

I smile at him and think to myself that if the night doesn’t work out with Luca then maybe I can find out where he is going after work. “Thank you. I’d like a Manhattan please!”

“A sexy drink for a sexy lady” he says winking at me before he walks off to get me my drink.

I sit and watch him walk away, he has a fine arse. All of a sudden I hear laughing and I look back around the table and see Suzie laughing and Ben is laughing beside her. “What is the matter?”

“Keeping your options open are you Scottie?” Ben says chuckling.

“Always Ben, Always” I answer sexily.

All of a sudden I can’t speak, my mouth has gone dry. There is this Adonis of a man walking across the restaurant. He is beautiful and he looks dirty as in naughty dirty, wow someone is going to be a very lucky lady tonight. I watch him and he starts to walk in my direction, I give him my “come to bed” smile and can’t believe when he stops at our table.

“Scottie, Scottie” I can hear Suzie talking to me but I can’t tear my eyes away.

“Mmm yeah” I say still looking at him.

“Scottie this is Luca, sorry I know you didn’t want to know his name” she says giggling at me.

I quickly turn my head to look at her and I can see she is smiling at me.

“I … What …. Sorry. Hi Luca, I’m Scottie” I say smiling at him.

He smiles back at me and says “Hi Scottie, that’s an unusual name,” He takes the seat next to me and I know that it is going to be a good evening after all.

The waiter comes over with my drink and I take it off him and down it in one “can I have another one of those please. It’s got hot in here all of a sudden”. The waiter looks pissed off and turns on his heel and walks off. Well I suppose I did give him my ‘come to bed eyes’ so I can understand it now that I have my full attention on Luca.

“My mum loved everything to do with Nova Scottica and wanted to call me after it and she made the name up. I prefer people to call me Scottie though.” I smile at him.

He chuckles and then says “Mmm Scottie, yeah I like that.”

He picks up the menu and starts looking through it for a drink. I watch him as he reads them out, they all sound dirty and he keeps licking his lips. I am losing it, all I want to do is to drag him out to the toilets and have my wicked way with him. When the waiter comes back with my drink Luca asks him for a “Long, sloe comfortable screw”. I nearly choke on my drink.

He starts laughing and looks at the menu again to choose what he wants to eat.  We all start chatting about work and what we do for a living. He tells me that he works in a gym, he’s an instructor and I can only imagine him in his shorts and singlet.

“Scottie …. Scottie … are you listening?” Suzie says staring at me.

“Sorry I was miles away. What did you ask me?”

“She asked whether you had picked what you wanted to eat!” Luca says looking at me.

“Yeah I’m going to have the steak with the jacket potato and salad. What about you?”

“Well I was going to have the chicken but you’ve tempted me with the steak.” Luca says smiling.

We keep chatting all night and Luca said to me at one point during the night when Ben and Suzie were talking to each other, “Scottie I don’t know if you are into blind dates but I’m not really. I don’t really date! I like to have a lot of fun and I’m not ready to settle down, so if you want more than that then I’m sorry!”

I start laughing, here is the man after my own heart, he wants exactly what I want. How often does that happen that you meet someone who is the male version of yourself?

“I’m glad you find that funny.” He says “that means you agree with me then. So lots of fun seems to be on the agenda tonight” he raises his glass in a toast and I clink my glass against his and we both say at the same time “To lots of fun.”

We both start laughing and before we know it we are all leaving the restaurant. As walk down the road Luca puts his arm around my shoulders and pulls me in close, we have lots of laughs on the way to Jesters.

When we get there we wait in the queue and I can feel the sexual tension coming off both of us. I love this part of the evening, when you have met someone that you fancy and you know where you want to take it, both of you know and everything that happens from here until we go home is the foreplay. “I think we both want the same thing. A fun night with no strings and I intend to take whatever I can with this guy. I mean have you looked at him? He is divine and I want to take every inch I can.” We both look at each other as I realise what I had said and we fall about the place laughing.

All of a sudden I can feel someone touching me on my hips and start to turn around to see who it is when I hear a voice, deep, sultry and close to my ear. “Don’t turn around just move with me” I know it is Luca, I recognise his voice, so I do exactly what he says. I move my body in time with his and I can feel how much he is enjoying it. “Do you feel how much I like this?” I groan. He chuckles.

We dance like that for about 20 minutes and then he takes my hand and pulls me off to the bar to get a drink. We take our drinks and we sit down at a table nearby, I don’t know where Suzie and Ben are and to be honest I don’t care. We talk but don’t really reveal much about ourselves, we know that this is for one night only. We decide to leave Jesters and go back to his apartment because of my mum being at home.

I press the hailo app on my phone and wait for my taxi to arrive. We don’t really say anything as we both know that this was only going to be for one night.

When the taxi calls to say it is outside I walk to the front door, he opens it and I lean in and kiss him on the lips. “Thanks for a great night Luca. See you around.”

As I walk down the pathway I hear him say “Night Scottie it was fun!”
