women. When the case hasn’t been solved in a timely manner, FBI agent Aylee
McFadden is sent in as backup.
Right away, there is chemistry between the
two. While Jason maintains his cocky attitude, Aylee remains strong and very
much independent. As the story progresses, there is a series of twists and
turns that I absolutely loved.
Despite Jason’s big ego, he is not to be
misunderstood as a bad cop. And while Aylee is strong-willed, she can’t help
but be attracted to him. But, when the case is over, what happens to them as
they prepare to go their separate ways?
This is unlike any other LP Dover novel I
have read. After a long reading slump, I was ecstatic to read something that
held my attention. This novel contains it all: suspense, steam, and sass.
I’m looking forward to the next book!
